Team Leader –Youth Connections (Full Time - 1.0 EFT) - NSW
Youth and Family New England

A new, exciting, opportunity exists for a Team Leader to join the Youth and Family New England team to provide leadership in the development, implementation and management of the Upper New England Youth Connections program. The program will support young people to attain Year 12 or equivalent and assist them to make a successful transition through education and onto further education, training or work. The position is for an initial period of 2 years with the possibility of extension subject to funding.
Your high motivation and passion for working with young people will see you grow in this role. If you want to make a difference in young people’s lives and have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and experience relevant to working with young people, particularly young people at risk
- Demonstrated clinical skills and experience in managing a team
- Experience in the implementation of innovative programs and strategies to engage, empower and build resilience in young people
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, consult and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders
