LAME - LICENSED AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER: TAMWORTH, NSW


• Flight Training role - Piston Engine Aircraft
• Relaxed Tamworth location
• 1 x FT role and 1 x 6 month contract

Applications are now sought from Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our Tamworth based Flight Training operations team. If successful, the role will see you carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on piston engined aircraft and components, within a Civil Aviation environment.

As part of a maintenance team, you will contribute to an efficient and productive working environment whilst satisfying the customer and enabling the company to meet its objectives and fulfill its obligations.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Performing maintenance activities including repairs and modifications to aircraft and aircraft components
• Certifying maintenance activities
• Ensuring organisational OH&S regulations are observed and met
• Meeting appropriate standards and procedures for aircraft and aircraft component maintenance activites
• Ensuring all activities are carried out to a high standard of workmanship, providing aircraft in a safe and serviceable condition to meet operational requirements
• Monitoring and maintaining the flight line
• Ensuring the hangar, tools and ground equipment are maintained in a serviceable, clean and tidy condition
 
You will come to the role as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, with either engine/airframe/instrument or electrical background, within a General Aviation environment along with a knowledge of Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) requirements. Sound computer skills and well-developed communication and team abilities are also required.

To meet defence security requirements, applicants must be Australian citizens or eligible for citizenship.
