Shot Firer – Tamworth
Our client is seeking an experienced Shotfirer in either a quarry or open cut mine environment.
This is a permanent position. 5 /2 roster, 10 Hour Shift,
You will be involved with:
• Carrying out drill and blast operations
• Prepare, load, tie and fire shots
• Operate plant equipment in a safe and compliant manner
• Maintain strong commitment to safety and compliance with legislation in regards to the storage, manufacture and transport of explosives on the mine site
To be considered for this role, you MUST have the following:
• NSW Shotfiring Certificate
• Dangerous Goods ticket / Explosives handling ticket
• SSAN
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to start immediately
